Night 1: Ha Noi - Lao Cai

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sa pa - YLinhHo - Lao Chai - Ta van (5h trekking, 14Km, 3 villages)

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa

Day 3: Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Lao Cai - Hanoi

Night 3: Lao Cai to Hanoi by 4 berth soft sleeper tourist sharing cabin

Night 1: Ha Noi - Lao Cai

At  8:00 pm you will be transfered from your hotel to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 8:35 pm. You will be in a shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 to travel North to Lao Cai town. The train arrives in Lao Cai at approximately 5:00 am where your Sapa Ethnic Travel guide will welcome you. Look for the "Sapa Ethnic Travel" sign and your name as you exit the train station. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). Upon arrival in Sapa you will be taken to Fansipan View Hotel for a morning shower & breakfast, Early check in may be possible if your room is available, then we will help you prepare for the trek as detailed below:

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sa pa - YLinhHo - Lao Chai - Ta van (5h trekking, 14Km, 3 villages)

Picked up at Lao Cai Station upon your early arrival for over an hour drive uphill in a shared mini van to Sapa. After freshen up and Breakfast in a local restaurant, transfer 6km along the main road to a beautiful spot where your village trek begins.This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H’mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H’mong and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people, paying visiting to local homes, village schools… you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Tonight you will enjoy a home stay in Ta Van Village for an unique life experience.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa

Leaving Ta Van village after Breakfast and following the foot path uphill, you will pass through impressive terraced rice paddies on the hill slopes before getting through a bamboo forest, a huge waterfall to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao peoples. Walking around the village you will meet many women with their embroidery work to make their traditional dresses, occasionally you can see the blacksmiths making farming tools and even hunting riffles. Passing the Muong Hoa river again and then trek uphill to Su Pan village passing the rocks field with unique carving which is believed to be the messages of the ancient peoples. In this village you will see the special technique to build houses on the steep rocky land. From Su Pan you will drive on a Jeep back to Sapa to check in the hotel of your choice, Having dinner and free time to discover Sapa town romantic at night.

  Day 3: Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Lao Cai - Hanoi

 After having early breakfast in the morning we drive to Bac Ha Market. It takes us 3 huor driving to get there.

This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H'Mong people).In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. And then we drive back to Lao Cai railway station.

The guide sees you off at Lao Cai train station and takes you on the train to Ha Noi.

Night 3: Lao Cai to Hanoi by 4 berth soft sleeper tourist sharing cabin

At 5:00 pm, you will be transfered by a tourist shared bus to Laocai train station, then take the night train back to Hanoi. Here your Sapa experience ends and we hope you have enjoyed your time with us. Take care.
