Night 1: Hanoi to Lao Cai by the night train 4 berth soft sleeper cabin with AC

Day 1: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai- Sapa

Day2: Sapa - Bac Ha Market (only Sunday)  - Lao Cai - Ha Noi

Night 1: Hanoi to Lao Cai by the night train 4 berth soft sleeper cabin with AC

At  7:30 pm transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 9:15 pm. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 to travel North to Lao Cai town. The next morning: The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 5:00 am where your Sapa Ethnic Travel guide will welcome you. Look for the "Sapa Ethnic Travel" sign when you exit the train station. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to Fansipan View Hotel for a morning shower & breakfast, Early check in the hotel of your choise if the room here is available, then prepare for the trek as detailed below

  Day 1: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai- Sapa

Transfer 6 km by jeep then walk on 2 km down to Lao Chai village, and keep walking 3 km Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Lunch at a local family in Ta Van, all for you to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes… Continue after through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dzao, visit a wonderful waterfall & a suspension rattan bridge on the way to the main road for a jeep to return to Sapa. You will have free time untill your included dinner in Sapa Cuisine restaurant. Tonight you have free time again to discover Sapa romantic town at night, to take part in Sapa Love Market if you are on Sunday.

Day2: Sapa - Bac Ha Market - Lao Cai - Ha Noi

You will start to drive to the market at 7:30AM from Sapa Ethnic office or from your hotel in Sapa, Arrive after 2 hours and a half. Free time for visitting one of the most colourfull market in the world. This big market in north west Vietnam filled with many different hill-tribe peoples such as Flower Hmong ,Dzay ,Tay ..peoples. At the market, you have chance to enjoy BacHa people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. After lunch Leave the market for visiting the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920, short walking to see BanPho village where is homeland of flower Hmong. Say good bye to BacHa and get back to Lao Cai Station. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in LaoCai. Transfer to Station for overnight train back Hanoi. Arrive at 5 AM . End of great trip.
