The public bus from Lao Cai city to Sa Pa town and return is open from 22nd July 2014. The total distance is 37 km. All buses are 29 seats ( Seat only). Bus starts each 30 minutes in the peak hours, each 1 hour in general.
The bus opens at 5:10 in the morning and close at 20: 15 every day; the price is 28,000 VND / pax /way for whole route; 10.000 VND/pax/ for inner cities of Lao Cai and Sa Pa town.
It's journey comes from Lao Cai Train Station Square - Nguyen Hue Street - Coc Leu Bridge - Hoang Lien - Kim Tan - Highway 4 D - Ngu Chi Son Road - Xuan Vien - beginning of Thach Son Street (near Sa Pa Church) and the return.
