Every Sunday, Bac Ha hosts the biggest fair near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. It is a trading centre and meeting place for couples, friends, and relatives, and it is a typical weekly activity for the H'Mong and other minority groups living in the locality.

Please make sure that this one day tour to Fansipan peak is only suitable to a few people who are speacially good in health fitness, who do not have much time in Sapa but still love to be the winner of Indochina roof. In some compatitions, the winner run from the trekking base to the top in within 2 hours.

Bac Ha market is very well known in the area for its color painted to local hill tribe people. There are Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dzao, Tay and Nung…They all gather to the market to sell their homemade products such as corn wine, handicraft… as well as an interesting animal

Although tourism is developing fast in the region, many locals still live a very basic life. Most of them spend all day long working on the fields. It’s so easy to find a small market in any villages; they sell what their families do not need in markets, Cocly market, too. And with the money they make, they buy something else. It is what experts call a subsistence economy. No luxuries...

We start the day trekking through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho village, home to Black Hmong minorities. Weather permitting you will enjoy stunning views across the valley with mountains and rice terraces as far as the eye can see.
